OUR HISTORY

Baking Bread with Love

A bakery with a long history and an enduring sense of passion is located in the center of North Bend, among the beautiful scenery of Washington state. Edgewick European Bakery was established by Irina Moore, a baker whose ancestry dates back to Russian kitchens. It is a legacy of the strength of family recipes and the love that goes into each loaf of bread. The beginning of Irina's journey was when she was a small child, standing by her mother's side in their quaint Russian kitchen, where the smell of freshly made bread filled the room and fond memories were mixed with every serving. Irina acquired baking skills and the ability to infuse warmth, flavor, and charm into every product with each rise of the dough and each tick of the oven timer.

A Taste of European Tradition

Stepping into Edgewick European Bakery will take you to Europe's cobblestone streets and busy markets. Our shelves are filled with a variety of handmade bread, each loaf bearing witness to centuries-old baking techniques passed down through generations. What sets us apart? Our dedication is to utilize only the best organic and locally sourced foods, ensuring that each bite is tasty and a tribute to the land and community we call home. Each bread is made with care and nostalgia, from the savory Olive Loaf to the fiery Cheddar/Jalapeno masterpiece. At Edgewick, we don't simply sell bread; we also share a piece of our history with every customer who walks through our doors.

Our Promise

At Edgewick European Bakery, we think that bread has the potential to unite people, cross-cultural barriers, and generate moments of joy and connection. Whether eating a slice of our Dark Rye with Caraway Seeds or a buttery Croissant, you're taking a gourmet tour over continents and centuries.
